Term 3: Week 7: Class excursion...
So, the topic this week is the class camping trip. For those of you who are new to our school, usually if there is enough time in the year, you get to go on a camping trip for one overnight with your classmates each year. (The above picture was from two years ago, and below you will see us coming home before we got to the sea ice and tried seal hunting... "HI FRANKIE!")
The third picture is from the same trip when the Sec. 1's and Gr.7's went together to Qaalik Tasinga (don't know if that is spelled right?1) (do you recognize the fellow in the front on the Bravo???)
The final picture was from my first year when some students went upriver to collect Arctic Charr eggs, it was taken in September 2003.
Now, here are the questions I have for you:
1. WHAT would be your FAVOURITE time of year to go on the class camping trip?
(For example, would you prefer going out by boat in August or September, or by skidoo in January or February, or in the spring by skidoo?)
2. WHAT is your FAVOURITE thing to do when you are camping with the class? Fishing with rods (in summer/Fall), berry picking, ptarmigan hunting, seal hunting, goose hunting, ice fishing or something else?

On spring time, its the best time of the year cuz its the most warmest, niest days to be out. The last days of winter. I like going camping by ski-doo on spring.
I hope we will go camping again with my classmates.
I like fishing, I like being outside to get a tan, i like to play games like snow ball.
I like to catch fish.

I would like to go camping in the first week of March because, I might be going back to Nain on ski-doo on March.
Answer # 2:
My favorite thing to do when I'm going camping is ski-dooing and fishing I guess the best thind I like to do is cheaking who go the most fish.

My favourite time of year to go camping is on summer. My favourite thing to do when we are camping is berry picking, picking mussels and hunting seal.

My favourite time to go camping is on winter because I like geese hunting. I like to drive ski doo when we are camping. On summer I like to go camping because it is fun. On summer I like to go seal hunting because I like to watch my borther shooting seal. I like to go berry picking with my mother because I like to eat berry. I like to go camping by boat .

My favorite things to do in camping in the winter and spring by ski-doo. Because in the winter l like hunting ptarmigan and go ice fishing. In the spring l like going camping with my father. The most boring is in the summer because there is lots of flys.

I would go around march or april. Cause there are lots of geese. When we went camping around that year I had 1 goose. I was the only one to caught a goose.That was the most funnest class in my life.

I like summer because it is not cold. I like to go berry picking and go camping. I like spring too because i like to have a goose and we go hunting. I like to go on honda ride in the summer. In winter it is funn too driving honda because when we spin it is fun.
