Term 2: Week 7 Would you ever try to climb K2 or Mount Everest??
Hi Everyone:
This week we were talking about the qualities of being a "hero". Then we watched the movie K2 about a team of people who tried to climb the second highest mountain in the world.
You saw on the movie how hard a trip like that can be on
your body and mind.
From what you saw would you ever want to try it?? Why or why not?
Just to let you all know Pascal (our school's gym teacher) has agreed to come in to our class and make a presentation on his expedition last year to climb a mountain in South America. Be sure to come on time- it will be Monday, 8:45 am!

I would never climb a big mountain bigger than our mountain. If i try to climb up the mountain i would get sick and maybe die, my imaginaitionis thisif i try to climb up the mountain i would die. Would you try Gillian? If you try to climb a biggest mountain would you try?

I will never try to climb a mountain because it must be hard to climb. It must be hard to climb the ice mountain and fall down and we would die. I would be tried to climb the mountain. It must be hard to walk on snowy and wind then climbthe mountain.

I would try to climb a second highest mountain in the world. I tryed our mountain when i was a kid. I wish we had an highest mountain in the world. If I was a good climber i would never give up when i climb. If I was a sissy I would never climb the highest mountain.

I would never try it because It would be scary to climb it. I would just die there when I try to climb it or I would just fall of the cliff. If I try to climb I would just freak out and I would just stop climbing. When I was in Akulivik for Junior Ranger Camp We were practicing climbing on the hill I couldn't climb cause it was too hard for me. Rappelling was easy for me not the climbing part was hard. Rappeling was fun because going down the hill and moving left to right I was even yelling cause I was abit scared. Climbing was the hardest for me, My friend from Kangirsuk made it to the top she was even almost crying.

NEVER because I don't wanna to die from climbing from the big mountain. I like to watch Kevin climbing to second highest mountain in the world. I'm scared from the big mountain to climb. I wish our town had the biggest mountain and the name would be K3. Kevin would try our biggest mountain after he try the second highest.

l would never what to try it because it would be to hard to try the k2. lt would just be scary to climb a second highest mountain in the world. l would never try but if the mountain is small like here l would climb it. l would go to the smallest mountain because it is easier.
