The question of the week is:
Why do people work?
What is the purpose of having a job?
Tell me everything you can think of about the topic of jobs and work.

I thing people work because they want money and they order beers.people work because they have to buy things food,clothings,pay there houses and buy skidoos and stuff.if i grow up im going to ragland.when i was workink at the northern it was fun and boring.it was kind of low pay.maybe i made around 900$ all togerther when i was workink at the northern.

Because they when to get money. They have to feed they kids or family. When I grow up I when to have a job or work. In day 1 I go to the co-op for working. It is fun working in the co-op.

People work for money. It make people busy and making hours. I still have a job at coop. I go there very after school. I still want my job, but my favourite job is a agent the airport. I'm working since 3 years. This is my third year working at the coop. Having a job is fun, but we get tire.

People need work because they need money. Because they need food, clothing, house and for kids. If they collect and have anything they want. They should have school job because they need more skills. It was fun having the a summer job at the coop. It was good.

People work because they need money to buy foods for their children. They need to buy clothes for them too and buy clothes for themselves. They need to buy furnitures for there homes. I think coop is boring and I get tired of standing. It's boring if Susie is not there because I'm always the only girl sometimes. Thats why I didn't go to work this week. I'm tired of working in there.

People work because they need money. The purpose of having a job is having babies must be hard without a job. If you work you can get money. If get money or food or get cloth or rent a house or get a scooter or a ski-doo or get a loptop or competure for yourself or a cloth for your babies or baby bottle or Pampers.
My working place is : Daycare.
My classmate don't make hour but i make hours.
i have to go there on day one and make hours agian.

People usually get a job to make money for food and what they want cause money is the only thing that can buy. Some peolpe uses there money for their children to feed cause its the only food they could get from the store and always money... like always..
Especially they use it for drugs, poker and to buy junks.
Its like a job for their life cause its the only thing to buy, thats what I think about job and to buy food and stuff lik that.
I have a job at the Northern. I just think the managers need help at the Northern.
First of all, We have to be cashiers for our costumers. And after work, the northern needs to be clean and I dont really know nothing about it. I just
noticed that the managers need help and stuuf. And we usually get payed and all that.

Well, I tried lots of different jobs when I was growing up. I did a lot of babysitting, worked in a restaurant for a few years, and also worked giving information about Nova Scotia to tourists from all over Canada and the United States. I also worked in the governement during my days in university. I met the Prime Minister at his house once during that job.
The favourite job I've had so far in my life was working with Tourism Nova Scotia. I liked it because for one summer I was living in Bar Harbor Maine (in the US). It is SO beautiful there. I would ride my bicycle to work and on my days off I would go for 6 and 7 hour hikes all over the island. I would see deer and other animals beside the road on my way to work at 5:30 am in the morning.
I also really liked the people I was working with. We all lived in the same house and some of us had to share rooms. There were about 10 of us, all teenagers between the ages of 19-22. Our house was downtown and we used to hang out on our deck every evening. Lots of people used to visit our house because we were always having fun!

Because they have to feat their kids and pay for the food. The purpose having a job is to make money. And the purpose is to finish the school and get a job. People work because they have to pay their bells.
